Fort New Salem Foundation, Inc. will assist Fort New Salem in preserving and advancing the educational, historical, cultural and social aspects of Nineteenth Century West(ern) Virginia.

Rededicated 12-12-09 The expansion, rehabilitation and reopening of the Blacksmith Shop was one of our feature projects for 2009. it was funded in part by a Community Partnership Grant from the State of West Virginia, Dominion Resources and AmeriCorps. The work included contract labor and volunteer efforts by Energy Express, Miracle Meadows, Upward Bound, Alpha Lambda Delta as well as our general volunteer base. With our IRS 501 C 3 status, donations (including cabin sponsorship) are tax deductible (consult your accountant for details).
