Schedule of Events:

Virtual Fort New Salem
Dulcimer Festival
August 7 – 8, 2020

Due to the COVID -19 much of our public schedule has been altered. All our planned public events  through October are cancelled.  Our board of directors will be meeting in the coming weeks to finalize our plans for the remainder of the year.  We continue to monitor advisories and guidelines from state and federal official.  When it is determined to be safe for our guests and volunteers, we will update you on any rescheduled dates.

Our facility is open to the public during our events.  The individual event hours vary and are listed on the page for that activity.

Private Rental

As our campus has developed so have the requests for private use of our facility. Currently this has included company picnics, weddings, high school reunions, family reunions and organization meetings. Contact us to find out more about holding a private event at Fort New Salem. We currently offer no on site catering but can make arrangements with area vendors. Private rental requests are subject to facility availability.
